RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT

• Machine learning, Big data analytics & Data mining, Speech technology, Image processing & video analytics, Block chain, Cloud computing, Cyber security, Internet of Things (IoT), VLSI & Embedded systems, and Semantic web services are the main research key areas are identified by our department.
• Two faculty members are pursuing a Ph.D.
• Actively doing research in a variety of subjects; has been awarded funding for projects totalling 50 lakhs from the AICTE, TNSCST, RPS, MODROBS and APEC Trust.
• Number of research articles written by faculty and students have been published in reputable journals and conferences.
• In order to improve their domain knowledge, faculty members are encouraged to take part in Faculty Development Programs (FDPs), Valued Added Programs, Workshops, Hands-on Training Programs, Seminars and Conferences (National/International) led by leading software industries in their own research area and other institutions in India and abroad.
