ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
The department of Computer Application was established in the year of 1998 with an intake of 60 students in PG.. The department is equipped with fully established laboratories such as Computer Laboratory. The Association of computer society is regularly organizing seminars, Guest lectures and Industrial Visits for the benefit of student community. Our department has been a member of reputed journal reviewer in The international journal of Computing and Digital Systems (IJCDS), International Journal of Electrical and Computer Engineering (IJECE) etc.

Mission of The Department
To offer high-grade, value-based Post-graduate programme in the field of Computer Applications To provide conductive environment so as to achieve excellence in teaching-learning, and development activities. To facilitate students to nurture skills to practice their professions competently to meet the ever-changing needs of society.

Graduates will be able to:
Apply their computing skills to analyse, design and develop innovative software products to meet the industry needs and excel as software professionals.
Pursue lifelong learning and do research in the computing field based on solid technical foundations.
Communicate and function effectively in teams in multidisciplinary fields within the global, societal and environmental context.
Exhibit professional integrity, ethics and an understanding of responsibility to contribute technical solutions for the sustainable development of society.
PROGRAM SPECIFIC OUTCOMES (PSOs)
On successful completion of the Computer Application Degree programme, the Graduates shall exhibit the following:
PSO1: Able to select suitable data models, appropriate architecture, and platform to implement a system with good performance.
PSO2: Able to design and integrate various system based components to provide user interactive solutions for various challenges.
PSO3: Able to develop applications for real time environments using existing and upcoming technologies.
